Maker of Music and Dreamer of Dreams
I can work miracles, but only when I'm damn good and ready.

maestrojlr@yahoo.comMy way to Heaven lies in Hell's back door.
Organist. Piano teacher. Accompanist.
Friend. Lover. Confidante.
If you are fortunate enough to find the life you love... may you find the courage to live it.
Who, where and how am I? Normal is something I will never be, and neither is boring. I am a maker of music, a dreamer of dreams, and a dueler of wits. Everywhere and nowhere all at once, a jack of all trades but master of very little. Yes, I have mastered a few things in my journey on the Big Blue Ball... and no, I won't tell what they are. Come and find out for yourself.
We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams...
yet we are the movers and shakers of everything else, it seems.
Computers are a large part of my life. I do a bit of programming here and there and have taken networking classes as well. At the moment I am completely addicted to World of Warcraft, but Neverwinter Nights, Diablo II and Baldur's Gate II have special places in my heart (and on my hard drive). Yes, I am a female gamer. I own quite a few gaming systems, starting from the original Nintendo (I even have a working Game Boy the size of a VHS cartridge) up through the XBox and PS2. I also do a great deal of free-form based roleplaying and am an old school D&D queen.
Nothing is irreparable if it is worth saving.
Sometimes the details of the mundane world overwhelm me and pull me down. Other times I am as ridiculous as they come, which is why my journal entries may go full tilt with no warning. Proceed with caution -- objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear.
It is the nature of humankind to fear what they do not understand.
Come as you were, as you are, and as you would like yourself to be. There is no need to hide anything here, and all are welcome... as long as you keep an open mind and open arms.
Greatness is a virtue only to those humble enough to accept it.
Over, under, through. Self-reflection.
Over: clocked, the top, and over, your head.
Under: observation, construction, discussion, the bridge, the table and dreaming.
Through: thick and thin, it all, and through, the looking glass.
No blade I have ever known to be of any worth has had but a single edge.
"Dance as though no one is watching you, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on earth, and love as though you have never been hurt before."
And many a man with a life out of tune,
And battered and scarred with sin,
Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd,
Much like an old violin.
A 'mess of potage,' a glass of wine;
A game--and he travels on.
He is 'going' once, and 'going' twice,
He's 'going' and almost 'gone.'
But the Master comes and the foolish crowd
Never can quite understand
The worth of a soul and the change that's wrought
By the touch of the Master's hand.
